People view to organized religion not only for solace but on the contrary, they also look to attribute ca substance abuse for the worlds woes. The terrorist firing on the World Trade Center on September eleventh has many people looking to the religion of Islam for a culprit, as the work force who flew the planes were Israeli suicide missionaries. These men thought themselves to be on a mission from God (Allah). This implies that they were acting on the words of a prophet, or thought themselves prophets. In response to this, I decided to research the major(ip) religions in todays world that rely on novel day prophets for guidance. By doing so, I am attempting to prove the religion of Islam exculpatory by comparing it to many other religions that have similar construction but no terrorist intentions. The first question we come to when studying religi ons found on the teachings of modern prophets is this can modern prophets exist? Christianity, one of the ternion major religions followed today, says yes.
